The 1930-31 season for Our Gang marks a high point for the series in many ways, and also proves the strength of Roach's simple formula which makes The Rascals, even to this day, so appealing.

Jackie and Chubby's affection for Mrs. Crabtree is clearly the focus early in the season until Stymie comes into his own in Little Daddy (1931).
