SYNOPSIS:Robert Young is back as America's favorite father to the beloved Anderson family, serving up healthy and wholesome doses of advice for this growing kids. Whether it's Bud (Billy Gray) getting caught up with one of the local girls, Kathy (Lauren Chapin) handling the pressures of a spelling bee or Betty (Elinor Donahue) getting ready for college, Jim Anderson and wife Margaret (Jane Wyatt) always seem to know exactly what to do. Every day with the Andersons was a slice of 1950s suburban heaven.
The beloved family comedy series was originally cancelled after only one season on CBS - then brought back by NBC following a wave of fan support. By its third season the program was a Wednesday-night fixture for NBC that would continue to air on network until it returned to the CBS Monday-night lineup for its final two seasons.
So take off your shoes, grab your sweater, hop on the couch and join Jim, Margaret, Princess, Bud, and Kitten in Season Three of the classic 1950s sitcom Father Knows Best.
