SYNOPSIS:
Starring Isabel Elsom (My Fair Lady) and Ivor Barnard (Great Expectations), Illegal is the story of Evelyn Dean (Elsom), a woman driven to the edge by her no-good alcoholic second husband Franklyn (D.A. Clarke-Smith, The Man Who Knew Too Much). When Evelyn finds out her money has been squandered away on booze and gambling, she kicks Franklyn out and tries to figure a way to get back on her feet. Since gambling and drink had taken all her money, Evelyn decides to open her own after hours nightclub, which becomes an overnight success.
