**Universal Studios** has announced a May 20th release date for James Stewart - The Western Collection. The six DVD set will retail for $39.98, but is available at Classicflix.com for only $29.99. They are:

Destry Rides Again (1939)
Winchester '73 (1950)
Bend Of The River (1952)
The Far Country (1955)
Night Passage (1957)
The Rare Breed (1966)

They have all been previously released on DVD and it looks like Universal will just repackage the same content with the possible exception of The Far Country. While its original aspect ration is 1.85:1, its May 2003 DVD release was in the full screen format. However, the specs for this set show The Far Country as being released in 1.85:1. We'll find out, but I'm doubtful.
