SYNOPSIS:John Ford's first movie at Fox, Just Pals was set in what would become to typify John Ford's America: the town of Norwalk, on the border between Wyoming and Nebraska. Fox star Buck Jones plays Bim, a happy-go-lucky layabout who becomes the town hero when he thwarts an attempt to fiddle the local school out of its memorial donations - and, in the process, wins the heart of the school mistress.
