SYNOPSIS:Based on the operetta by Victor Herbert, this delightful musical follows the pre-Christmas antics of two well-meaning bumblers, played by the inimitable comedy of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.
Although Dee (Hardy) and Dum (Laurel) do everything wrong at their toy factory jobs, when the learn that Mother Peep and her daughter Bo are about to be evicted, they try to do right by helping the damsels. Hoping to borrow money from their boss to prevent the sweet little shepherdess from to marry the sinister landlord, Dee and Dum are instead fired! Not only that, but Barnaby wants to shut the factory down and ruin the holidays for all the children expecting toys! It's up to the big-hearted, hilarious duo to gain help from the rest of the fairy-tale citizenry to stop the wedding, save the factory and celebrate Christmas.
