Being this poor takes an expensive sense of humor! When Mr. Skitch (Rogers) and his ditzy but delightful wife Maddie (Pitts) fall on hard times after a bank failure, they pile their entire brood into the family car and set out to seek their fortune -- only to find a series of hilarious fiascoes instead! But when Mr. Skitch stumbles on a wacky movie-star impersonator who needs a manager, he hatches a side-splitting, screwball scheme to regain his fortune in the one place where dreams still come true -- Hollywood!
