SYNOPSIS:Gear up for the continuing adventures of one of classic television's most compelling dramas, Route 66, as it drives through its third season jam-packed with action, intrigue and star-studded escapades.
All Now own Route 66: Season Three, Volume Two, featuring the final 15 episodes of this pivotal road trip classic's junior season which marked the departure of co-star George Maharis as Buz Murdock and introduced of Glenn Corbett.
In Route 66, Yale graduate Tod Stiles (Milner) is the more-cultured intellectual who led a privileged and sheltered life. Brooding Buz Murdock (Maharis) is a tough young man who grew up in "Hell's Kitchen" and struggled his entire life just to survive. When his wealthy father dies, Tod unexpectedly finds himself flat broke with just one sole possession, a powder-blue 1960 Corvette. On a quest to find adventure, excitement -- and himself -- he and Buz hit the open road to see America.
After Maharis' latter-season exit, Corbett fills the infamous Corvette's shotgun seat as Army vet Lincoln Case. Newly released from six years of duty, including a stint in Vietnam, Case joins Stiles on his rambling, cross-country journey of exploration and adventure.
