SYNOPSIS:
The irrepressible Danny Kaye stars as a mild-mannered mouse who imagines himself as a number of daredevil heroes, including a gunslinger in the Old West and a Mississippi riverboat gambler! One of Walter's dreams becomes a reality when he gets involved with beautiful blonde Virginia Mayo - and becomes the target of a gang of jewel thieves who believe he has their loot! Fun film, from beginning to end, plus one of Karloff's best performances. I'm not a particular fan of Danny Kaye, but this film always makes me reconsider him.
