SYNOPSIS:
"See what happens when the President passes through Suddenly!" read the original theatrical poster for Suddenly in 1954. Legendary performer and Academy Award winner (From Here To Eternity) Frank Sinatra is John Baron, a hitman driven to the edge. Baron and his thugs come to a town called Suddenly, where they take a family and a sheriff (Sterling Hayden) hostage. They use the family's house as a perch to take aim at The President Of The United States! Will the assassins succeed?

Sinatra in fact made two films with a plot revolving around a Presidential assassination, the other one being The Manchurian Candidate. But Suddenly holds a special distinction of being seen by Lee Harvey Oswald just a few days before the November 22, 1963 killing of President John F. Kennedy. Afterward, Sinatra had the prints of Suddenly pulled from circulation.

A gritty, classic controversial film noir featuring one of the greatest entertainers of all time, Suddenly is presented here in a 50th Anniversary Edition, produced from the finest original elements with digital sound.
