A rich young widow imagines being in contact with her deceased husband killed in a car crash several years earlier. Turhan Bey as the medium gives one of his finest performances conning Lynn Bari, the widow, into thinking she is in contact with her late husband. Richard Carlson plays the suitor, and Donald Curtis is the dead husband.
This 1940s gothic suspense noir is awash with mystery, breathtaking scenes and thrilling sequences as the widow is led across the top of the cliff, half-drugged. Beautifully produced, photographed and scored, this is a film not to be missed.
