SYNOPSIS:Bob "Hope is in his best form" (The Hollywood Reporter) and Dorothy Lamour "lends her charms" (Variety) in this comedy-thriller about a bumbling newspaper reporter whose work lands him in a spy ring of espionage, sabotage and murder! Robert Kittredge (Hope) is a foreign news correspondent known for scooping the big stories. But when he misses the beat on Germany's invasion of Russia, he heads home to his fellow reporter and fiancee Christina Hill (Lamour) in Washington, D.C., in hopes of saving his relationship, career and reputation!
