SYNOPSIS:Broadway impresario Chuck Daly (Dick Powell) has suffered through a string of flops. But the kids at his alma mater don't know that. They're counting on Chuck to turn their varsity show has into a smash!
Powell leads an A+ cast of coed cuties and BMOC, including film-debuting sisters Priscilla and Rosemary Lane and fluty-voiced comic character star Sterling Holloway, in this exuberant college musical. Can Chuck save the show? Well, with Busby Berkeley creatining and directing a rah-rah, football-themed finale featuring high-style overhead shots, kinetic camerawork and hundreds of dancers on a 50 ft. by 60 ft. staircase, you can bet everybody graduates summa cum zowie!
BONUS FEATURES:
- Edgar Bergen/Charlie McCarthy comedy short A Neckin’ Party
- Classic cartoon Have You Got Any Castles
- Theatrical trailer
