Warner Archive titles excluded, the lack of new releases coming from the major studios has left some in the doldrums. But today's announcement should offer a real pick-me-up with Sony's debut of their new Icons of Screwball Comedy line.

Two 2-disc sets, Icons of Screwball Comedy, Vol. 1 and Icons of Screwball Comedy, Vol. 2, are set to street on August 4th. Retail for each is 4.96, but they are available they're available at ClassicFlix.com for only 9.99. Bonus features are not yet known.
