ORIGINAL ANNOUNCEMENT (Island of Desire)

The technicolor romantic adventure Island of Desire (1952) starring Linda Darnell and Tab Hunter has been announced with a January 26th release date.

Originally titled Saturday Island, it is being released by VCI with its original script title. Bonus features are not expected.

Retail will be 4.99, but it's available at ClassicFlix.com for only 0.99.

More British Cinema is on the way from VCI as they've scheduled a January 26th release date for British Cinema - Drama Collection.

The four tiltes (above), will be contained on 2 discs and feature well known British actors Richard Attenborough and Nigel Patrick, as well as a couple of state side players in the twilight of their career (Pat O'Brien and William Bendix).

It will retail for 9.99, but it's available at ClassicFlix.com for only 9.99. Bonus features are not expected.
