SONY: Boston Blackie, Ondongo, Storm Over the Nile in November

Action, Adventure and Boston Blackie are on tap for Sony's Columbia Classics November releases.

Boston Blackie's Chinese Venture (1949), the 14th and last of the fast-moving comedy-mysteries has Chester Morris' Blackie accused of murdering a Chinese laundry owner. -- Why Sony's first release from the series is the last film made may indeed be the real mystery here.

Also streeting on November 1st are two wide screen Technicolor efforts: Odongo (1956) starring Rhonda Fleming and Macdonald Carey; and a remake of The Four Feathers Storm Over the Nile (1955) starring Anthony Steel, Laurence Harvey, James Robertson Justice and featuring a young Christopher Lee. Co-directors are Terence Young and Zoltan Korda (director of the 1939 version).

Last up is the Lucille Ball Classic Collection which combines four titles released individually in July: Her Husband's Affairs (1947), Miss Grant Takes Richmond (1949), The Fuller Brush Girl (1950) and The Magic Carpet (1951).
