Singin' in the Rain (Blu-Ray) - 60th Anniversary Edition in July
Warner Bros. has announced the 60th anniversary of Singin' in the Rain (1952) with a trio of new releases scheduled for
July 17th.
Marking its Blu debut, this beloved film will be presented in a
single disc Blu-Ray, a
2-disc special edition and a
3-disc Ultimate Collector's Edition.
As far as bonus features, an all-new featurette, Singin' in the Rain: Raining on a New Generation, will join all the extras from the previous 2-disc edition. Additionally, the Ultimate Collector's Edition comes with plenty of premiums including a 48-page hardcover book (more details below).


Silent movies are giving way to Talking Pictures - and a hoofer-turned-matinee idol (Gene Kelly) is caught in that bumpy transition, as well as his buddy (Donald O'Connor), prospective ladylove (Debbie Reynolds) and shrewish co-star (Jean Hagen). The musical masterwork Singin' In The Rain marks its 50th anniversary in this Deluxe Edition providing a downpour of celebratory Special Features that salute not just this all-time favorite but also the musical legacy of its producer, songwriter Arthur Freed.
