Paramount has announced Gunsmoke - Season 7, Vol. 1 for release on December 11th.

This season marks the move to hour-long episodes for Gunsmoke -- the format at which it would remain for the remainder of the series.

The 5-disc set will retail for 6.99, but is available at ClassicFlix.com for only 7.99. Bonus features are not expected.
