TIMELESS: Gene Autry Collection, Vol. 5 in March

More Gene Autry from Timeless Media as they have announced Gene Autry Collection, Vol. 5 for release on March 25.

All four titles are making their DVD debut and bonus features are expected (below).

Gene Autry is the only entertainer with all five stars on Hollywood's Walk of Fame, one each for Radio, Recording, Motion Pictures, Television and Live performance. He was the silver screen's first singing cowboy and is credited with creating the genre of the musical B Western.

As the star of 89 feature films, Gene brings music, comedy and action to each of his roles. Now, for the first time on DVD, Gene Autry's rollicking big screen adventures and unforgettable tunes are brought home in these Western classics, fully restored and uncut from Autry's personal film archives. 

Loaded Pistols (1949, 79 min.)
Seeking a mystery man who has killed his best friend in a poker game, Gene Autry finds a wild young cowboy hiding from a posse along with his high-spirited sister. The young man's gun is the murder weapon yet Gene is convinced of his innocence and continues the search for the real killer. When shady ranchers express an interest in purchasing the siblings' worthless ranch, Gene becomes suspicious furthering the mystery!

Gene sings 'Loaded Pistols and Loaded Dice,' 'Blue Tail Fly,' 'When the Bloom is on the Sage,' 'A Boy from Texas, a Girl from Tennessee,' and with the Cass County Boys sings 'Pretty Mary.'

Gene Autry and the Mounties (1951, 71 min.)
Gene is a fightin' mad Montazana marshal on a dead-or-alive manhunt seeking to recover U.S. gold bullion stolen by Canadian renegades who want to overthrow their government. Pursuing the bandits into Canada's violence-riddled backwoods, Gene must straighten out a headstrong boy, tame an outlaw dog, and helps a Mountie get his girl all while trying to recovers the stolen bullion!

Gene sings 'Blue Canadian Rockies' and 'Onteora' plus Elena Verdugo sings 'Love's Ritornella.'

Night Stage to Galveston (1952, 62 min.)
During the turbulent post-Civil War period, former Texas Rangers Gene Autry and Pat Buttram help a crusading newspaper publisher in his fight to rid the Lone Star State of the crooked police who control the region. When the corrupt head of the State Police orders Gene and Pat murdered, it will take all of Autry's abilities as a fighting man, horseman, and marksman to save the day!

Gene Autry sings 'Down in Slumberland,' and 'A Heart as Big as Texas.' Sidekick Pat Buttram sings 'The Yellow Rose of Texas.'

Goldtown Ghost Riders (1953, 59 min.)
Gene Autry's flying fists and Champion's flying hooves carry the law into a ghost-ridden, fear-crazed gold town. Gene is a district judge who acts as his own police force to deal out swift six-gun justice. Smiley is a dynamite and blasting powder salesman. Together they must unravel a dual identity murder and the mystery of a decade old gold claim scheme by con artists who enlist a band of outlaws disguised as ghost riders. With Gail Davis, Smiley Burnette, Kirk Riley, Carleton Young, Neyle Morrow, Denver Pyle and Champion, World's Wonder Horse.

Gene and Smiley sing 'Pancho's Widow,' Smiley sings 'The Thievin' Burro,' and Gene sings 'Gold Mine in Your Heart.'
