Musicals and romantic comedies are in the spotlight this week from Warner's Archive Collection.
Hit the Deck (Blu-Ray) headlines this wave and stars Jane Powell, Tony Martin, Debbie Reynolds, Vic Damone, Russ Tamblyn, Ann Miller, Gene Raymond, Walter Pidgeon, J. Carrol Naish, Richard Anderson and Jane Darwell.
A couple of double features are also part of the mix with Ann Sothern and Gene Raymond starring in She's Got Everything / The Smartest Girl in Town and George Murphy, Anne Shirley, William Gargan, Richard Barthelmess, Wally Brown, Alan Carney and Frances Langford, among others, in the double bill The Mayor of 44th Street / Radio Stars on Parade.
Also out is Irene (1940) which stars Anna Neagle and Ray Milland and features Roland Young, Alan Marshal, May Robson, Billie Burke, Arthur Treacher, Marsha Hunt and Isabel Jewell.
