Warner has announced the release of two more long out-of-print titles under their Samuel Goldwyn banner: Gary Cooper's The Westerner (1940) and the Bob Hope action/adventure comedy, The Princess and the Pirate (1944). Both are set for release on October 14th.

Warner's release marks the third time The Westerner's been put out on disc, the first time was in 1998 through HBO Home Video. MGM put it out in 2008, where it eventually made its way onto the studio's 2009 box set devoted to Cooper. Since then, however, it's been out of print.

The Princess and the Pirate was previously offered on DVD in 2005 and then in the Bob Hope Movie Legends Collection in 2007, both put out by MGM and long out-of-print.
