In 2003 Universal Studios began to release individual and full-series sets of their classic monsters under The Legacy Collection moniker. Last year the studio upgraded them to high definition by releasing all on Blu-ray.

Out of print for sometime, all six Universal 'monsters' are being re-released on September 2nd in new individual Legacy sets (none of which contain double-sided discs or DVD-18s):

• Dracula - The Complete Legacy Collection
• Frankenstein - The Complete Legacy Collection
• The Invisible Man - The Complete Legacy Collection
• Creature From the Black Lagoon - The Complete Legacy Collection
• The Wolf Man - The Complete Legacy Collection
• The Mummy - The Complete Legacy Collection

Universal is also releasing Universal Classic Monster: The Complete 30-Film Collection, which includes all six sets plus The Phantom of the Opera (1943).
