Warner has announced three new releases as part of their Archive Collection; two interpretations of the Romberg / Hammerstein musical, The Desert Song and a series of animated shorts.
The first Desert Song is from 1943 and stars Dennis Morgan fighting off Nazis. This marks the DVD debut of the musical romance, rights issues had held it back before now.
The second version, 1953's Desert Song, stars Gordon MacRae and Kathryn Grayson and gives the story the lavish Technicolor treatment.
Warner is also putting out Loopy De Loop - The Complete Collection, 48 shorts released in theaters between 1959 and 1965 created by the acclaimed animation team Hanna-Barbera.
All three will be available here at ClassicFlix on September 30th and add to the total of over 1,300 Warner Archive titles exclusively available for rent at ClassicFlix.com.
