Warner has announced a June 9th street date for their Golden Years Collection.
This six-disc set contains five legendary titles released during the 'golden year' of 1939, four of which (Dark Victory, Dodge City, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Ninotchka) will be making their Blu-Ray debuts. The set also contains Gone With the Wind which was released in 2009.
The sixth disc will have a documentary, 1939: Hollywood's Greatest Year, narrated by actor Kenneth Branagh. It is currently unknown whether it will be Blu-ray as well.
All four new Blu-rays will receive individual releases at the same time.
Bonus content is included for all but Gone With the Wind, and includes cartoon shorts and trailers. Final artwork for the individual releases is forthcoming.
