Video Artists Int'l has announced August 25th as the release date for the television adaptation of Mary Martin's Peter Pan.

Out of print since the late-1990s this marks the first time the 1955/1956 NBC telecasts of the Broadway musical will be released in HD.

Both versions will contain the 1956 performance, while the 1955 staging with the same cast is a Blu-Ray exclusive.

Bonus features on the Blu-ray will include an interview with Martin's daughter, as well as a 1955 NBC promo for the production.
