Shout! Factory has announced a July 12th release date for The Defenders - Season 1.

This marks the debut of the E.G. Marshall and Robert Reed-starring law drama on DVD. The series ran for four seasons between 1961 and 1965.

The 9-disc set contains all 32 episodes in the first season. Bonus features are still to be determined.
