I LED 3 LIVES
We're thrilled to share the news today that we've reached an agreement to restore season 1 of the Cold War television drama I Led 3 Lives (1953-1956), with access to the original camera negatives.
Starring Richard Carlson (Creature from the Black Lagoon), the half-hour ZIV TV show is based on real-life counterspy Herbert A. Philbrick and the day-to-day reality of living as an undercover FBI agent who has infiltrated a Commie spy ring. Like many ZIV produced programs, I Led 3 Lives shuns the static confines of a sound stage and is shot largely on location in and around Los Angeles.
We expect to release the first season (39 episodes) in three separate, 13-episode volumes, with the street date of the first volume on both Blu-ray and DVD expected mid-summer 2027.
Check out the 4K raw scan clip below from the original camera negative.
LOCK UP IS SHIPPING NOW!
With an expected "wide retail" street date of November 10th, Lock Up - Season 1, Volume 1 is now shipping for those who order the set at ClassicFlix.com.
This instance of extremely early shipping prior to the official street date gives buyers a chance to purchase the set months before it's available for general retail, with an additional option for overseas buyers to purchase at our eBay store.

2027 SCHEDULE
The work of rescuing and scanning titles that no one else dares to touch, and then giving care to each frame to ensure a top-notch restoration is time-consuming and laborious. We wish we could schedule several releases every month, but given the material we have to work with and the cost of such undertakings, we're on a general pace for between 1 to 3 releases every quarter for the near future.
And while there may be a few surprises, and dates may change or be pushed back, below is a rough outline of what can be expected in 2027 from ClassicFlix.
First half of 2027 in rough order:
Second half of 2027 in rough order:
We have no word at this time regarding 2027 animation releases, but only to say that we are hoping to have 1 or 2 on the schedule. Additionally, we still anticipate including Angel, Vol. 2, The Unexpected, Vol. 2 and a Mickey McGuire silent set in our schedule next year, but right now we aren't able to definitively green light the projects.
Also, we are planning three soon-to-be-announced releases for this December, one will be The Missouri Traveler (1958) which we shared news about in a post earlier this year, and the other two will be modified re-releases of currently out of print titles.
