CRITERION: The Innocents Debuts on Blu

Criterion has announced a September 23rd street date for the 1961 chiller, The Innocents, 'one of the most frightening movies ever made,' on a newly restored DVD (2-disc) and Blu-Ray. The British horror film was last released on DVD by 20th Century Fox back in 2005, however, because the studio didn't put out a Blu edition, fans were left to purchase expensive imported copies. The first season without big brother Adam Cartwright (Pernell Roberts), Paramount has announced a September 2nd release date for season seven of the popular Western series, Bonanza. Separated into two volumes, volume 1 will contain sixteen remastered episodes, while volume 2 holds seventeen. The only bonus content is a feature film made from the series' first two-parter.
