  • OLIVE: Dragonfly Squadron Coming to DVD & Blu in October

    Olive Films has announced an October 14th release date for the debut of 1954's Dragonfly Squad to Blu-Ray and DVD. Out of circulation for several years, audiences were forced to purchase expensive VHS copies before now. The studio also plans on including both the 2D and original 3D versions of the feature on the Blu-Ray disc.

The Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire comedy was last released on special edition DVD in 2006, and has been included on several Bing Crosby sets.     Cohen Media has announced a September 9th street date for the 1943 Fritz Lang drama, Hangmen Also Die on DVD and Blu-Ray. Kino originally held the rights to this Brian Donlevy spy thriller, releasing it on DVD in 2000 and putting it as part of their Film Noir: The Dark Side of Hollywood collection in 2006. And while Cohen releases generally come with bonus content, none for this release are forthcoming.
