  • WARNER BLU: The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance Debuts in October

    Warner has announced October 13th for the release of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962) on high-definition Blu. Originally put out by Paramount on DVD back in 2001, this marks the first time the film, starring John Wayne and James Stewart, will be available on Blu-Ray. Warner has not announced whether any bonus content, either new or carried over, will be included.

  • OLIVE: No Man's Woman and Flying Disc Man Arrive in October

    Olive Films has announced an October 27th release date for the DVD and Blu-Ray debut of the 1955 crime drama No Man's Woman. Also arriving on the same day is the twelve episode sci-fi serial, Flying Disc Man From Mars, starring Walter Reed, making its debut on Blu-ray.   • Gumby - The Complete 1950s Series Debuts in September

    NCircle Entertainment will release Gumby: The Complete 1950s Series to DVD on September 22nd on a 2-disc set. All 22 episodes will be included, although it's unknown if any bonus features will accompany the set. Gumby, the animated series created by Art Clokey, has been resurrected for television several times and various collections have popped up on DVD, usually with a scattered amount of episodes.

    Timeless Media has set November 17th as the release date for the lastest Gene Autry movie collection, Gene Autry Collection, Volume 12. Much like past Gene Autry installments, Volume 12 is a 2-disc set featuring four fully-restored films.
