  • The Man From U.N.C.L.E. - Season One Arrives in August

    Warner has announced August 4th as the release date for the complete first season of the 1964 television spy spoof, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. This marks the debut of the series on individual season sets after the studio put out the complete series (coming in a suitcase, no less) back in 2008. All 29 episodes will be contained on ten discs. 100 minutes of bonus footage has been announced, but not specified.

    Kino's off-shoot label KL Studio Classics have announced June 9th as the street date for Spencer Tracy''s starring roles in Inherit the Wind (1960) and Judgment at Nuremberg (1961).  These releases continue Kino's strategy of re-releasing out-of-print MGM titles.     Criterion has announced a July 7th street date for both versions of The Killers on DVD and Blu-Ray. Originally released on DVD by Criterion in 2003, but since out of print, the upgraded 2-disc DVD set and the new single disc Blu-Ray will contain both the 1946 version of the film, starring Burt Lancaster and Ava Gardner, as well as the 1964 remake which stars Lee Marvin, Angie Dickinson and Ronald Reagan.   • Third Season of Donna Reed Back in Print in June

    MPI has announced a June 30th re-release date for the third season of The Donna Reed Show. Running from 1958-1966, The Donna Reed Show remains a staple for fans of American family sitcoms. Originally put out six years ago by Virgil Films, and long since out-of-print, MPI took over licensing of the show in 2012 with the debut of season five. This set is presumed to contain four-discs as well as never-before-seen bonus features.

  • Jamaica Inn Debuts on Blu in May

    Cohen Media has announced a May 12th release date for the Blu-Ray debut of the 1939 Alfred Hitchcock film Jamaica Inn. The film originally premiered on DVD through Kino in 2003. Special features for the 4K restoration are anticipated but have not been announced.

    Warner Home Video has announced July 7th as the day you can bring home volume 2 of the second season of Batman containing the final thirty episodes of the series. Season 2, Vol. 1 was released to DVD last month while the complete first season, as well as the complete series set, debuted last November. Bonus content hasn't been revealed.
