    Olive Films has announced a March 31st release date for the Blu-Ray debut of Bob Hope and Lucille Ball's 1960's comedy The Facts of Life. Originally put out on with the Bob Hope - Movie Legends Collection in 2007, the movie has been long out of print despite Hope and Ball's billing. Bonus features to the upgraded DVD or Blu-Ray haven't been revealed.

    Shout! Factory has announced an April 28th release date for Sgt. Bilko: The Phil Silvers Show - Season 2. Paramount released Season 1 back in July of 2010, but abandoned the series without explanation.     Kino's new off-shoot label KL Studio Classics has announced a street date of March 24th for the Martin and Lewis war comedy At War With the Army (1950) and the 1949 mystery Cover Up.  Both are receiving their debuts on Blu-Ray.     Sony's Columbia Classics line debuts the World War II drama The Unwritten Code (1944) on DVD for the first time.     Cohen Media has announced a February 10th street date for the 1942 William Dieterle musical, Syncopation on DVD and Blu-Ray. This marks the debut of the historical exploration of syncopated music on any home video format. And while Cohen releases generally come with bonus content, none for this release are forthcoming.

  • KINO: The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming Premieres on Blu

    Kino has announced a February 10th street date for the 1966 comedy, The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming, on DVD and Blu-Ray. This is the first time the Norman Jewison classic will be released on Blu after being put on DVD by MGM in 2002. Bonus features will carry over from that DVD release and include a brief making-of feature and a theatrical trailer.

  • CRITERION: Robert Montgomery's Ride the Pink Horse in March

    Criterion has announced a March 17th street date for the 1947 film noir, Ride the Pink Horse, on DVD and Blu-Ray. This is the first time the Robert Montgomery classic will be released on DVD and Blu after years of being available on various public domain box sets.
