  • DISNEY BLU: 101 Dalmatians Gets Diamond Edition Blu-Ray

    Walt Disney has set a February 10th street date for 101 Dalmatians (1961) on Diamond Edition Blu-Ray / DVD Combo. Previously released in a 2-DVD Platinum Edition set, Dalmatians is making its Blu debut with this release. And like past Diamond Editions, bonus content will likely carry over from the 2008 release.

  • FOX ARCHIVES: Smiley Series Comes to DVD

    Fox announced two new entries into their Cinema Archives line. Smiley is a 1957 British adaptation of the Moore Raymond series of novels; Smiley Gets a Gun was the sequel, produced a year later. Smiley and Smiley Gets a Gun will be available here at ClassicFlix on November 25th. These DVDs adds to the total of over 300 Cinema Archive titles exclusively available for rent at ClassicFlix.com.

  • The Razor's Edge Premiering on Blu in January

    20th Century Fox has set a January 13th street date for the Tyrone Power drama The Razor's Edge (1946) on Blu-Ray and DVD. Originally released on DVD in 2005, this marks the first time the movie will be available on Blu. Bonus content from the last DVD release - audio commentary and a Fox Movietone reel - are being transferred to the Blu with no additional features planned.

  • VCI: The Tall Lie Debuts on DVD in January

    VCI has announced a January 13th street date for Paul Henreid's directorial debut, The Tall Lie (1952). Originally titled For Men Only, The Tall Lie established Casablanca star Henreid as a serious director. He would go on to direct an additional five motion pictures as well as countless episodes of popular television shows. Bonus content, if any, has not been revealed.

  • WARNER: Four Disc Musical Collection Arrives in March

    Warner has announced a March 3rd street date for their Warner Bros. Musical Collection. This four-disc set contains a quartet of popular 1950s musicals, three of which (The Band Wagon, Calamity Jane, and Kiss Me Kate) will be making their Blu-Ray debuts.
